Beautik Haute Parfumerie, Bucharest, Romania
The rarest perfumes can be found at Beautik Haute Perfumerie, a concept store in Bucharest. Shelves are filled with rare niche and artisanal fragrances from around the world, as well as vintage editions. The space is entirely dedicated to two eras: the perfumery classics of the 20th century and contemporary nonconformist experiments. The interior resembles a cosy living room with velvet textures and copper details, while the central element is a stylized apparatus for distilling essences. Alongside other materials such as wood, leather, antique mirrors, and green accents, they create a warm and thoroughly relaxing atmosphere.
Le Labo, New York, USA
Over 20 mono-brand stores of Le Labo are scattered around the world, and it's worth visiting perfumers Edouard “Eddie” Roschi and Fabrice Penot for their fresh (not in a metaphorical sense) aromas. They prepare them right in front of the guests, blending the ingredients in the right proportions, so it's not possible to just drop by and quickly buy a fragrance that you fancy. "Be prepared for a couple of hours," warns Edouard.
And Le Labo also has the City Exclusive Collection, with fragrances that can only be found in specific cities - Vanille 44 is worth bringing back from Paris, Poivre 23 can be found in London, and Tubereuse 40 in New York. Le Labo stores resemble a laboratory or pharmacy, with measuring beakers, scales, and measuring cylinders, or they embody the perfect project in wabi-sabi aesthetics, where beauty is "imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete".

In one of the most prestigious shopping centres in Kuala Lumpur, Suria KLCC, the fourth Aesop store in the city has opened, offering a full range of skincare, body, and hair care products. The white interior with subtle geometric details beautifully showcases the dark and monochromatic bottles and tubes. Smooth white metal pipes from floor to ceiling visually add volume and depth to the compact space.
The same design elements are repeated in the cashier area, which is made of stone, maintaining the overall linear composition. At the centre of the store, there is a demonstration sink made of contrasting copper, instantly drawing attention and creating a focal point. Rows of recessed ceiling lights, combined with shelf lighting, add a theatrical glow to the space.
